May I ask how long this takes and how much it cost to have the same alteration? I have been looking up Altered Cards for Christmas. This is one of my favorites. Thank you!

It depends how long my queue is whenever you put in the commission order. Right now though I'm pretty booked through the holidays. If you'd like to work something out, shoot me an email at Blackwingalters@yahoo.com and we can discuss it in more detail.

I met you in Charlotte, NC and this was probably my favorite alter! You inspired me to start altering and for that I am grateful . Any advice would be seriously appreciated! Hope to see you again!

(what kind of paints do you use???, I use liquitex soft body acrylics... they are still too thick though)

I'm so glad my work inspired you!

There is definitely a difficult balancing act to get your paints thin enough. You need to be watering down your acrylics just a little bit, but too much turns them into runny goop. Once you do it for a while, you'll find that sweet spot. The worst part is that it's different between different brands of paints!!

Personally, I use reaper and Vallejo paints. They're made for wargame miniatures (like warhammer or war machine) and I find they sit a little thinner on the card as a whole.

Good luck with your alters!!
